| Description: | Primary Mission
Overall responsibility for estimating and project management of structural steel & sheet metal fabrication ( industrial ductwork, tanks, cyclones etc.); achieving timeliness, quality, customer
satisfaction while maintaining a safe work environment.

| Duties: | Summary of Responsibilities
Day-to-day estimating and project management of shop work.
Essential Functions
•Research customers projects, prepare bids, get Operation Manager’s approval then submit proposal
•Contract review and compliance
•Preparing work order/traveler and cost coded budgets for Timberline input on awarded contracts
•Manage procurement of materials, subcontractors and equipment needed for the awarded contract
•Coordinate with Production/Operation Supervisor, Operation Manager to ensure projects are run efficiently, profitably and on schedule
•Attend weekly production meetings with updated cost on WIP (Work in Progress) by utilizing software available to maximize efficiency (Microsoft Project, Timberline, JobBoss, Excel)
•Identify and generate business. Network and establish/maintain customer relationships
•Track division performance against goals and objectives
•Assess and address risk( financial & safety)
•Coordinate shop drawing process( detailer, autocad department & customer drawings)
Other Functions
•Contribute to the improvement of company processes and implementation of Best Practices
•Monitor and react to industry trends
•Embodiment of the corporate vision and message. Communicate and enforce company policies, directives and goals.
•Set a clear example of ethical behavior and establish “doing right” as a business priority
•Be familiar with applicable codes

| Qualifications: | Requirements
•Understanding of the technical requirements of the industry
•Strong staff management, analytical, and people skills
•Excellent attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
•Knowledge of craft skills and requirements
•Ability to manage in a multi-task environment
•Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, estimating, and scheduling software
