Description:Payroll Department Support
Duties:Summary of Responsibilities
Enter all employee time and wages and to monitor all time systems on customer sites for accuracy to make compensations are correctly paid weekly.

Essential Functions
Provide support and assistance to the payroll division
Process payroll adjustment as needed
Assure all daily entry is in system for processing on schedule
Balance payroll time entry
Perform post audit of payroll to ensure accuracy of all time entered
Prepare management reports as requested
Assist Payroll division with benefit program accounting
Respond to employee inquiries
Import data from a customer timekeeping system that track 250 employees weekly time
Edit imported data for accuracy
Monitor employee benefit schedule



Qualifications: Five or more years of previous experience a plus
Strong Analytical, Organizational and Time Management Skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and procedures
Knowledge of Federal, State and Local employment regulations a plus
Ability to proactively communicate and work effectively with Payroll Management and Staff
Ability to prioritize workload of staff, and meet deadlines with speed and accuracy
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
The ability to convey a positive and professional image in person, by phone and in correspondence
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Sage Timberline experience a plus
